The following hematological tests are routinely performed in the Department. [ WBC count, Differential Count, Bleeding Time, Clotting time, Prothrombin time, Activated partial thromboplastin time, RBC Morphology, Peripheral Blood smear, Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate, RBC count, Pack Cell Volume, Mean Corpuscular Volume, Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin, Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin Concentration, Reticulocytes, Malarial Parasites, Microfilaria, Platelets, Blood Group, Rh-type, Aldehyde test, L.E cell]The department also performs cytopathological services like [fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC), Body fluid cytology (Pleural fluid, peritoneal fluid, pericardial fluid, urine cytology, Sputum cytology, Pap smear cytology)].
